Peter Courts may have been taking notes from John Senden (day 3 leader in the Australian Open with a 3rd round 9 under par) as he cruised home to win in last Sundays Par event. Peter was 6 holes clear of the field with an awesome score of +11. Peter claimed an excellent trophy provided by Adam Boxsell. 6 shots behind, Lachlan Bill and Russell Lieschke recorded +5, while Greg Hosking (+4), Tony Clewett (+4) and Kevin Peterson (+3) may have ordinarily had hopes of a close win, but, in reality, were dreaming. Josh Whittaker counterbalanced Peters astounding win with a -12 score top convincingly secure the special ball.
Roger Holgate won the progressive cometition with +16, while Eddie Hawkins (The other Eddie) and Josh Whittaker won the nearest to the pin prizes on the 7th and 12th holes. In the Cock O The Walk comp, Tracker and Stewart (The Toranas) Tahana, defeated Charlie McDonald and Josh Whittaker by a handy margin. They were lucky. The Toranas take on Andrew Kadwell and Steve McCrorey next week.
